Proposition Urbanization

The municipality of Ede will grow from 120,000 to approximately 150,000 inhabitants in the period up to 2040. This will require substantial investments in urban facilities in the coming years; investments that, because of their scale, require good cooperation with the Province of Gelderland and the Foodvalley Region. Together with the municipality we have drawn up an ambition document in the form of a proposition inviting the various partners to make this jump in scale together. The ambitions formulated in this document are in line with the Environment Vision 2040 and the Urbanization Strategy Arnhem-Nijmegen-Foodvalley. The proposition was presented to the Provincial Executive of Gelderland.
