Housing Policy

On behalf of the trade association for realters, we actively lobbied to accelerate housing construction in the Netherlands. This led to the adoption of several motions in the Lower House, calling on the government to map regions with (impending) housing shortages and to make concrete agreements with municipalities on the construction task. This led to the creation of a National Housing Agenda, which identifies a large number of actions to accelerate housing construction, improve affordability and make better use of the existing housing stock.
